IMHO a more specific template for medieval fortifications would be useful. There is a lot of complex terminology, and lumping it in with unrelated things like concertina wire is not helpful. Perspicaris (talk) 13:52, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

I wonder if a matrix of both time and culture would be helpful when considering the classifications for fortifications. I came to see why the Hakka walled villages are not represented. Patron Vectras (talk) 21:28, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
